1. Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Voyagia:

  • Account information: name, email address, and profile picture (provided via Clerk authentication).
  • Trip data: itineraries, bookings, events, notes, and documents you create or import.
  • Imported content: forwarded emails, uploaded PDFs, photos, and other documents you submit for parsing.
  • Usage data: feature usage, page views, and interaction events (collected via PostHog).
  • Device information: browser type, operating system, and device identifiers for mobile apps.
  • Payment information: processed by Stripe (web) or app stores (mobile). We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve the Service, including AI-powered parsing and suggestions.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, import notifications).
  • To track flight status and provide real-time updates.
  • To generate documents (PDF, DOCX) from your trip data.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the product.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties solely to provide the Service:

  • Clerk — authentication and identity management.
  • Stripe — payment processing for web subscriptions.
  • RevenueCat — mobile subscription management via App Store and Play Store.
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — AI-powered email/document parsing and suggestions. Your imported content is sent to Claude for extraction but is not retained by Anthropic for training.
  • FlightAware (AeroAPI) — real-time flight tracking data.
  • Google Cloud Vision — OCR processing for uploaded images.
  • OpenWeather — weather forecasts for trip destinations.
  • PostHog — product analytics.
  • Sentry — error tracking and monitoring.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data and trip content is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Our database is hosted on Railway with automatic backups. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and download your data at any time via the export feature.
  • Correct inaccurate information in your profile settings.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Opt out of non-essential analytics tracking.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies (PostHog) are used to understand product usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Voyagia is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service.
